Debra Saldana Sharp

Debra Saldana Sharp is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Saldana Consulting International, Inc. d/b/a SCI, Inc., founded in 1994. While providing consulting and administrative services for qualified retirement plans to clients across Texas, Debra identified a critical need among businesses to educate and empower both employers and employees to make informed decisions related to their retirement, employment transitions and other life events.

In 2017, Debra launched SCI, Inc.'s PATH service to provide one-on-one consultation to Employers to help them understand their retirement plans and execute requests expediently when needed. Because SCI, Inc. is an independent consulting firm, Employers receive technical expertise with no undue influence.

Debra has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry with a specialty in Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) plans and is a credentialed member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA). Debra is a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) certified through ASPPA and an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

Debra is past president of the Sterling Group and continues to serve on the Board of Collaborative for Children.

A native of Houston, Debra graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Business Administration. She is a lecturer on and advocate for ensuring compliance in the retirement industry for both employers and employees.
